How do I measure the diameter of the chastity cage ring?

Different ring sizes:

At Cage-chasteté.fr, most of our products come with either a single adjustable ring or a set of 2 to 5 rings of varying sizes. These rings are measured by their diameter, which is the distance from one side of the ring to the other. These measurements are given in millimeters in all our product descriptions.

The ideal ring:

A perfectly sized cock ring will fit snugly behind your testicles but will still allow blood to flow to your penis. It shouldn't pinch or leave your penis feeling numb or uncomfortable.

Recommendation before measuring:

Because the penis is a round organ, it's quite difficult to measure the diameter of your own or your partner's penis on your own. Therefore, we recommend measuring the circumference—the total distance around your penis —and then performing a simple calculation to determine the diameter from there.

To obtain an accurate measurement of your penis circumference, we recommend first taking a warm bath or shower. This will leave your penis flaccid but will encourage active blood flow, so your final result will account for the slight swelling of the equipment as blood passes through.

Circumference measurement:

For most of our customers, the ring used is 45mm (1.75 inches) in diameter . However, other diameters are available. Here's a 4-step example to help you determine the diameter you need to order.

1. Take a piece of string approximately 30 cm (1 ft) long
2. Pass the cord around the scrotum and penis . Note that the cord must be inexhaustible to avoid distorting the measurements.
3. Make a double knot tightly ; you should have difficulty putting a finger through it, but do not tighten it too much so as not to cut off blood circulation.
4. Leave the knot for 5 minutes before cutting it to ensure it's the correct diameter.
5. Measure the length of the rope and perform the calculation below. You can also refer to the table.

Diameter calculation:

Once you have your circumference measurement, simply divide it by pi (approximately 3.14) to get the diameter. Below are some examples of these calculations using the most common cock ring sizes:

• Circumference 157 mm (6.1 inches) ÷ 3.14 = ring diameter 50 mm (1.96 inches)
• Circumference 141 mm (5.5 inches) ÷ 3.14 = ring diameter 45 mm (1.77 inches)
• Circumference 125 mm (4.9 inches) ÷ 3.14 = ring diameter 40 mm (1.57 inches)

If you feel you fall between two sizes, we recommend starting with the larger one. Over time, your penis will become more accustomed to the confinement, and there's a good chance you'll be able to tolerate a progressively smaller ring.

Measuring the length of the cage tube

Taking measurements for the long "tube" portion of your new penis cage is a much simpler process. You can use a straight ruler to measure the length of your equipment from the base to the tip.

A simple measure:

As with the ring measurement, we recommend doing it right after a hot bath or shower, so that the penis is completely flaccid but there is active blood flow to the area.

Stand up straight with your back straight. Place the edge of the ruler against the base of your penis and lay it flat on top of your penis . Then, to get the most accurate measurement possible, press the ruler firmly against your pubic bone .

This prevents belly fat from interfering and interfering with your measurement. You can ask a partner or trusted friend to help you, as it can be difficult to read the ruler while maintaining a straight and upright posture.

The ideal tube:

The cage's ideal tube will fit your penis perfectly, without constricting it to the point where urine cannot flow freely. Ideally, your urethral opening will be positioned against the opening at the end of the tube. The cage will be narrow and will completely prevent you from getting an erection , regardless of your level of arousal.

The perfect length:

The TOTAL length of the cage (ring + tube) must be equal to the length of your flaccid penis .

If only the length of the tube is indicated in the description, you must add approximately 15 mm to obtain the total length (15 mm corresponds to the width of the ring + the free space that separates it from the tube).

By default, the length indicated in the description tables corresponds to the length of the tube, unless otherwise stated.

If the cage is long and heavy, we recommend a cage whose total length is 5 mm shorter than your penile length, as this will tend to drop down a little.
